Stihl Duro Saw (carbide tip) Chains ?

Here I am. I just found this thread and am wondering what the grind angles are supposed to be for carbide
Check the packaging, Stihl includes all that with their new chains. I believe the Stihl catalog also lists the angles.

A word of caution though: you must use a diamond wheel to sharpen those chains, you can’t use regular or CBN wheels on carbide.

I hear/ read carbide dust is nasty stuff to breathe too, not just carcinogenic or allergic reaction (but that too!), but all kinds of pulmonary problems related to it.

Haven’t ever used carbide chain, but I got a HEPA filter for the big shop vac, I rigged that up for dust collection when sharpening stump grinder teeth.
