stihl battery tools

The black one is the cheapie model that came with the battery blower. WAY slower than the orange rapid chargers.
Not sure if there is a black charger with good output but they definitely sold a version with also reduced power blowers and reduced AH batts at some big box stores.

My wife was telling a friend how much she likes the Husky blower and he wanted to get one. I told him costs and he found one $75 or $100 cheaper at Home Depot. I looked at the spec tags on blower, batt, and charger, turned it on and blew his walkway for a minute - turned it off and was glad I don't have that model.

At that price, I would be all over it too! I definitely wanna move quickly into the niche of quiet tree work. Coms not shouting. Hand/electric tools. Ideally minimal blowing, and no chipping.
I've been in this zone a Lot lately.

My college student summer employee reminded me today that he's chipped on one job, for half an hour or less.

2 Echo battery climbers and an Echo rear handle have been getting a lot of work this summer.

No hot muffler to start a fire.

Hey Sean, Thanks for the offer but I can't get mixed up in shipping right now. If things change at the end of the month when I stop working I'll reach out and see if you're still interested!

This does bring up a training conundrum.. for the times ‘old school’ is needed and a lack of familiarity.
I run into this frequently. I guess the GRCS is the best example. It’s a tool that only comes out to play a few times a year. It’s hard to expect a employee to remember how to set it up solo when they might have only been present a small number of times and it’s been 6 months since they have seen it.
