Stihl 362

[Treezybreez]

I just bought a Stihl 362 with 25" bar. What are your thoughts about this saw? My initial impression is that it can pretty much handle anything.

Great saw, liked the feel of the less-floppy 361 but the 362 is lower vibe. With a 3/4 wrap it's fine for small felling, firewood, crane work, chunking down etc.

Just bought ours last winter with a 20 on it. LOVE IT. Best all around saw. Great bucking on the ground, and plenty fast for in tree use.

Just used it the other day on a 90'tall dead red oak dismantle. The Oak was 30 + inches in diameter at the base. The 362 is a great combination of weight and power for climbing with.

Probably a 25. My buddy had his ported polished and opened up the muffler. Sounds fantastic and goes like hell too. Pretty sweet since its a few pounds lighter than a 70cc saw.

i like the way my saws go up in 20 cc difference.

my 361 handles a 25 incher just fine but anything bigger like a 28 or 32 you need a bigger saw.
