Sterling Scion

As a combo line, the yale 11.7 has really converted me. My prism has been beat up for two years and is still my go-to for removals and everything where I may use Ddrt. I love tachyon, but the poly/poly yale double braids are tougher and the lower stretch shines with SRT.

Has anyone here used the blue 11.5mm Scion rope for SRT? I'm looking for a rope that is good for SRT and DRT around 11.5mm.
I have a 120 ft piece of the blue Scion. Works OK for me for shorter SRT ascents but it is a bit bouncy for a taller climb. I like Poison Ivy for longer ascents.

I like it for srt. As Burrapeg said it’s kinda bouncy. Plays well with the Akimbo and the roperunner loves it. I don’t do any drt climbing though so can’t help you there. I take that back, I will use the tail end once in awhile with a Blake’s hitch to get back down from a spar or limb that’s too far from my tie in and it works fine for that.

I got it recently and I love it! SRS with the wrench, has little drag on the wrench because of the low diameter. Works great in MRS too. However, won’t work with a pulleysaver (small pinto version) because of the stitched eye.

Milked about two feet off the end of the tail when I first descended.
