Spring has sprung???

That ice storm we had a while back broke the hell out of the ash trees, but not the silver maples. Now, we have nice weather and mild breezes, and the stupid things start dropping limbs and leafing out. I don't mind climbing them, but they planted them like crazy around here from the 20's clear up to the 70's and now they're big and old and hollow. Things get huge, too. Nobody does anything to them until they fall on the house (and like @96coal449 said, the neighbors house and half the street, too) and then they want it gone in an hour. I love the yards where they planted a dozen of them about six feet apart and about that far from the house. What a mess. They look like hell unless you give them plenty of room.

Yeah, it might be hard to sneak that over the border without having to pay some kind of duty tax or fees. That's ok... EAB is here, now, and there's going to be lots of it around here, soon enough!
