Well... not exactly.
If the rope were seeing loads close to the limit of it's capacity, this could potentialy be an issue. Given the (relatively) light loads of our climbing scenarios, I don't think you'll have any issues. A double braid eye splice can't be perfectly equalized, but we should endeavor to come as close as possible, IMO.
