Thought I would post a few pictures of my Spider Lift in use. First one's getting threw a gate.

Oooook we will try this again, seems crazy to only be able to attach one photo per post. But gives a thread more posts I guess?????

Any way back on subject.

Very nice DTW902, Looked like it didn't move those pavers or concrete around at all! Which model is that? and how long did it take to get in there and set up?

It's a very nice machine. I am very reluctant in getting up in those manlifts. Most of them are like fishing rods and are very wobbly. Can't get it into my brain that that's OK.

Thanks Mike
We did lay plywood down on the walk, didn't want to take a chance on damaging the pavers. That lift is the 23GT 76 foot working height. It probably took us 10 to 12 minutes to get through the gate and set up in the back yard. It only takes a couple minutes to set up once on spot. You swing the legs out push a button, the legs come down and lift/level the machine then your ready to go.

Yes it is a mental thing. I'll admitt it made me nervouse at first looking down from 60-70 feet and see'ing the small base of the Spider was all that was holding me up. But you have to remember that the outriggers are 131/2 feet apart.
The lift is very smooth very little bounce and movement in the booms. A lot less than the other bucket trucks we have. So far I am very happy with this lift, you have a lot more options when working a tree.

And this is how we transport it. I use a old u-haul truck that I bought. It works great, low deck height, everything is inside out of the weather and easy to lock up. Lift, saws, rigging ect ect.
