Speedy - just how fast can you go

HI ALL - i was out having a little more fun with the camera today. I need to figure out how to mount it on the handle bar so I can take better videos when i bicycle about.

here are my first two attempts. it was a wonderful day in the neighborhood, the smoke from the fires in the south have reached the area - 290 miles north. so the ride today was short but fast. (now if only I could get into the tree that quick)

ANY suggestions on setting this up, maybe a velco strap?

it was fun and my fastest speed on a downhill is 46.8 and yes the point 8 counts.

thanks

Nice video!

Looks like a fast bike you got there! Is that a digital camera you have taking the videos?

I would suggest wearing a reflective vest.

that is a simple bianca brava bike - my goal this year is 2007 miles and yes - i wear bright colors - but in this area where i ride, i see more cows then cars.

the camera is a casio digital - still learning what it can do.

thanks

Hi Mark,

I just googled that and found it quite interesting. To bad they only have in on the west coast and not all over the country.

to far to go for a ride. I have wonderful road here that i have not even riden on.

thanks for the suggestion.

I didn't realize there were hills that big in Jersey! Maybe you should try helmut cam. I just did the Iron Horse Bicycle classic Durango to Silverton ride- 8 mile decent into Silverton- scary fast.

Hey Shew,

I am a little more south then NJ - I snuck into the peach state a short time ago. (born a jersey girl always a jersey girl)

My longest uphill was 7.8 miles in 2.5 hours - Google 3 gap 6 gap bicycle ride - I did the 36 mile 3 gap part last year. and did hogpen in Jan this year - that 2.5 hour up took 22 to go down.

thanks - i have a velcro strap that is working pretty good - i set up the camera before i start hit the record button then off i go. not that i want to record the long downhills - but i do plan to get the hill i run at 46mph.

the need for speed - na - just don't want to waste the brakes.

enjoy the trees you climb and the roads you rocket along
