Some website love :)

Great job! Its visually appealing, has good content and sends the right message of a small but professional outfit. What i think it would benefit from is a clearer call to action on the home page for potential customers to organize an estimate via a contact form.

If you haven't already, learn to use google adwords.

Create or have your designer create pages for tree removal and tree trimming titled
"tree removal -insert main service city here - "
"tree trimming -insert main service city here - "

See if you can create a blog or have your designer start one. Make posts titled
"oak removal -insert main service city here -"
"maple tree trimming -insert main service city here -"

I built my business off the web and word of mouth from website customers. It's way cheaper then paper ads and easier to reach customers seeking your specific services. You have a great start with a clean, good looking site. All you have to do is get people to visit your site and it will sell for you.

Make sure you are on google maps, yahoo local, yelp, etc

Make an effort to tell your customers they can review your service on sites I listed above.

Nice Website Aaron, I'd like to see more pictures and video. It's nice to have a bunch of links everywhere to keep people bouncing around your site. You've got a great name and the look is a good start.

Google adwords, that pretty simple and effective? I looked at it while ago but that was before I had the website. I will look into that again.

Pictures! I know more pictures, do you guys just take your own? Or do you have a photographer do it? My wife and I have a couple nicer camera's that would produce some quality photos. I should get on that. I have a gopro too but its is never charged. lol

I think I had a google place's, they keep calling once a week at least.

I have never thought of doing a blog, is it pretty helpful? I'm not one with words so that might be a bad idea.
 
Very nice site! And x2 on what TheArborMan and Bix said. People like to see pics and vids of your work. Bix, you might disagree, but I think pics from your camera or even your phone would work. They don't have to be perfect, just well taken and displayed. You're not going to want them displayed at a high resolution anyway, as they'll take too long to load for viewers.

Also, make sure your search terms/words are in the title bars of your site's pages.

For example, look at the top bar of this page - "TreeBuzz Board: Some website love :)" If you search for those terms on Google, this thread will come up every time. So, when people search for "Tree Removal Portland" or "Tree Service Portland" or "Best Tree Company Portland", you'll have a lot better time coming up in the 1st page of results if those exact words are in the title bar of one of the pages on your website.

Artistically, your site needs no work whatsoever.
