Snowplowing..the way its done in Minnesota

At the beginning...watch the plow on the left merge into formation.

At the end...watch for the tow plow.

Curb to curb on the freeway!

Curb to curb
Never seen one of them tow plows in action, how do they work? Looks like it kinda drifts sideways....like me at quittin time Friday night ::George Jones - finally Friday blaring::

A lot of the plow trucks here have a side blade on the side of the truck to extend their plowing ability, haven’t seen any of the tow ones. I wonder if the driver controls it, or if there is a copilot.

Tow plows are cool, reach out further than wings and at least around here have a second salter for the other Lane.

However! They roll back A LOT of snow, so if you try to merge over past them there is quite the berm of snow to get through

I'm just like those Minnesota highways... I get plowed all winter.

We're getting a lot of snow here... but, I've been to Minnesota in the winter and it's no comparison. I'm not surprised they have all that equipment. Would hate to see their snow removal budget.

Tow plows are pretty trick.. Even on smaller equipment..
I'd even love to use one on residential route, but my route is too tight.. For parking lots though their the balls..
