Small Harness' For Production Climbers

Small Harness\' For Production Climbers

I have a co-worker who has a size 28" waist and she can't find a harness that fits her proper. She's tried multiple harness' from the Cougar, Puma and Sequoia and they have all been too big and have crept up to the point that it has become uncomfortable and an annoyance. Anyone have any suggestions who might have had the same experience? She's hoping her last resort isn't a kids rec harness.

Butterfly II
TreeFlex

New Tribe has a couple of new harnesses on the market. They tend to make their harnesses in the smaller sizes too.

Re: Small Harness\' For Production Climbers

i'm probably a 29" properly fitted and the tree motion doesn't quite do it for me. even at it's smallest it doesn't sit very well on these hips/waist. anyone got experience on the glide-lite?

Re: Small Harness\' For Production Climbers

I'm a 29" waist and with the Sequoia SRT harness there's still plenty of room to adjust the waist smaller. I find that it stays put on my hips very well through out the day.

As Tom mentioned, the latest New Tribe bridge harnesses should be a good fit, their size small is too small for me for sure. Their kids size rec harness would definitely be too small for a 28' waist, so no need to resort to that.

I believe that Petzl's Aveo harness comes in a size zero. I use the old version of that harness (the Navaho) for taking kids or small women climbing.

My wife is a size....wait...nevermind...she'd kill me if I published her waist size online!

Let's just say she has the Butterfly II and it fits her well and will work for you, too :)
