I wanted to fit leg loops to the scabbard of my Natanoko, and I recently bought a 'steinel heat gun' so thought I could do a bit of plastic moulding.
Gave the scabbard a bit heat and put 2 small incisions at the lower end for the strap, then offered a bit more heat and slid a size 10 fid into the gap, let it cool, and this is the result.
