Show us your harness

I had to come down the other day to get a loopie, fkn guy couldn't figure it out!!
That right there is one of the main reasons why I have so many different color rope buckets/bags. So when I'm stuck working with numb nuts who doesn't know the difference between a whoopie sling and a whoopie cushion, I can at least say "driver's side rear door of the Jeep, the ORANGE rope bucket", then have him dump it out underneath the tree while I point and say "No. No. No. Yes! That one!"

My saddle, I keep an extra wire core with me in case I cut one. Removals only. Give me a call if u can't handle the big stuff

I rec climb only, so I'm minimalist by definition. And when I want to travel lightly, I go with my harness pants by Mammut.

Right side: wire Revolver biner, large DMM ring, HMS biner, oval biner with CT Rollnlock, and oval biner with a small X-ring loop.

Left side: non-locking asymmetrical D biner to carry my lanyard tail. CE lanyard stuffed in the ditty sack clipped to the belay loop in back.

Lol, Mammut Realization harness pants for rock and gym climbing. Mammut is a Swiss company, which means they're automatically twice as much as they should be. I got them for 30% off, which should be the starting price.

The waist belt and leg loops are built inside but still visible for inspection. The leg loop size is adjustable but not the height, and they ride high, just below your cheeks. Not comfortable to hang in for more than ten minutes but I'm never hanging around in the tree anyway. They're comfortable otherwise. I'm still wearing them now, sitting on the couch eating a burrito. Having easily accessible pockets is nice, but there's no fly.

If I know I'm going to the park for a quickie, I can wear them out the door, along with my boots and neck tether, and carry everything else in a backpack.

Okay, so I have the same old stuff pretty much. I have recently incorporated the BOLA (lanyard adjuster) and I have 25' of KM III in that bag - I have the other end set up with the hitch so I can do some 2 in 1. A couple of slings and a Pinto, a F8, I have more than just the blood stopper in that pouch, a chainsaw lanyard, a delta link, silky, leatherman skeletool, Rollnlock, Hydra pulley. Oh and I have a dmm revolver on a prusik loop in the red first aid pocket for haul backs and the like.

John, interesting use of the ring on your lanyard to keep the snap in place and the distel hitch set. Care to elaborate on how well works for you ?

It isn't really that necessary...but if I need a ring at some point (for a redirect or something) it is really easy to take off. I just didn't like the slop of the dog snap and had that ring on hand, but it actually works pretty well. It make the adjustment more immediate and keeps things tight.

New tribe onyx, 18ft flipline with stein adjuster, ibuki 390, 2 large caritools, extra long blake with pulley, omni block on bridge to run with hitch climber set up.20151021_143945.webp 20151021_143915.webp

Um...I don't know if it's a good or bad idea to calculate the total of what you spent on your harness set up, but mine is over $1200... and that's just my current EDC (Every Day Carry). I have a bunch of stuff on the bench that doesn't play every game so to speak. I have decided it is a bad idea to run the numbers...just keep buying stuff and never look back. :envidioso

Now to be fair that total doesn't take into account all of the savings through buying all this stuff at TreeStuff.com!!!!! So, it is probably something closer to $1,100 - that makes me feel better. Oh, TreeStuff's prices are better to begin with so I saved a huge amount in the long run. Anyway, don't think about it...just buy cool stuff that makes life and work awesome. :bailando:

Is that what you tell the Mrs? "Honey, I actually saved money." :) I've used that one on a number of occasions.
Exactly, and savings can then be spent on other stuff because it's free money. Let's say if I make an order and get a $20 discount... I could either say I got those items for less, OR I could get a $20 item for free. It is just the way you look at it. I often look at it in a way that gets me more than less! My wife loves me! :envidioso:love:

I feel I speak for a fraction of us who have a small addiction to shopping at Treestuff. I tell my self " I need this" and if under $100 bones you fill up the order to get free shipping. I have a lot of the Jambo buffs ALOT! And now there sending the blue DMM/Treestuff buffs with orders. I like the those! I have givin the Jambo buffs to everyone on the crew some more then once and still have many left! Also have given some to my daughters friends.
Hi my name is Joe and I'm an addict.

My name is John and I have a Treestuff problem too. The wife and I have separate accounts. But she looked at my statement the month I went crazy and bought $800.00 worth of stuff in 3 orders
