Show off them splices

My favorite sling. Multi purpose - friction saver, srt retrievable redirect, Sisk monkey tail, or Blakes hitch split tail with tender.

Anybody have experience splicing All Gears 11.5 climbing rope? I believe its a DB class 1.

I tried to put an eye on it the other day, but when I extracted the core there was another core inside. Kind of 3 strand

braid and when I put a fid into the core the 3 strand bunched up inside. Is there any info out there about this rope?

I've been climbing on all gear rocket line and loving it. When I spliced an eye on it I used New England tachyon instructions and it worked out perfectly.

This was a little project that I did @ 5:00am, while having my 2nd cup of coffee! It adjusts from 18" diameter to 6" and it's doubled the entire length! I put 9 cinder blocks on a platform, that I attached to the covered loop.

So what's the overall opinion of it?

Thanks guys, the charts say that 3/8" Tenex Tec is good for 5100, but if you double the eye and the adjustable loop is considered doubled would the overall sling be stronger than just running a single length the entire distance? I'm just wondering if all the extra work raised the MBS or MWL (max work load) by any amount noticeable. I guess I'll have to just load it up and see what it can hold. Didn't calculate static loading. That's a test for a day this week! I still need to finish a 3 ring X ring sling w/ 1" Tenex, that's some fun rope to play with, just heavy as Hades!

I'm only looking to lower branches no bigger than 4-6", I'll never get close to the limit with it, Frank. I was curious if anyone has ever pushed the Tenex to that limit before. I don't want to damage my "Baby"! LOL.[emoji854]
