Should 80' oaks be cut down?

"And OOOOOOO the tree moves when the wind blows, what if..., what if...--a classic Chicken Little risk assessment!
I don't know how one sleeps after forgetting about arboriculture,
feeding people's most irrational fears,
bending them over with smoke and mirrors,
and raping their assets." = a bunch of BS

the things you reference, including your previous experiences = things of substance

i meant you old birds, as in not just you Guy

For my own part. I wish the bald eagle had not been chosen the representative of our country. He is a bird of bad moral character. He does not get his living honestly ... besides he is a rank coward: The little king bird not bigger than a sparrow attacks him boldly and drives him out of the district.

Pel the only pics i saw were the bottom of the trunks only, and all we'll ever see (Jessica left right after receiving advice about marital counseling). Isn't it the lean of the whole tree that matters? The lower trunk of the ginkgo leaned 17, but the whole tree was straight. Wouldn't that info be good, before assessments are made?

30 degrees may be an ok guideline to start with, but is it possible to judge lean as "excessive" without knowing load, soils, exposure?...More than one data point might lead to better judgments.

How's that for niceness, CutHigh? Took 10x the time to write...:censored:

OK point taken about overresponding; none of that in the webinar! Sorry. :muyenojado:

Based on the limited data she provided, can we at least agree that it is/was impossible to provide a definitive answer to Jessica's question? (remove vs. retain)
Conjecture, Guy, re. your azz-umptions on Jessica's supposed hurt feelings as her motivation for vanishing. Poor Yorick may have died of a broken heart as well.
Let's keep it real!
