Sherrill Tree 2010 cover model

The cover of the 2010 Sherrill catalog was photographed by Debra Marshall. We picked the location and I was up and down without breaking or cutting a twig. Set it up to be used as a promotional shot. I posted it on the Tree Buzz thread Your Favorite Photo taken 2009. Someone at Sherrill saw it and contacted Debra.

I'll be even more excited about getting the new catalog this year. My instructor at college waited till the end of class to let us at them because they are like candy to a new climber.

I just asked my sherrill guy if there was a new catalog, he did'nt know. I guess its true the mid-west is 6 months behind the coastal areas. That pic is ridiculous nice work.

That's something to be proud of! I remember the 08' issue, there was a guy climbing and craning a multi-trunk over house. I remember saying to myself "how do you get put on the cover of that?" Well I guess you take a really cool pic and post it on the buzzboard! YA!

Got one from Bailey's and Wesspur for free..

Spent a good chunk on the vermeer dealer up here last year, and they are the dealer for SherrillTree, so we should get one I think

Nice!! I flipped through the electronic version and low and behold, if you flip to the last page, the awesome oak countryboy photographed is also used. 2 buzz photos in one issue!

Thanks, wish it was mine. We take care of it, its sits in the middle of a new development. They have made a park around that tree, very cool. I did get to climb it twice already! Its a beauty thats for sure.

Go back and look in the Sherrill catalog with the cartoon workplace for the index page. Bryan Kotwicka did a composite cartoon with everything from PHC to rigging and climbing. Up in the left corner you'll see a fella laid back in a New Tribe Tree Boat, headlamp on, reading The Tree Climbers Companion.
