Sherbrooke

One of my all time fav videos. There was a really interesting article on this a while back. They had the rope made for this job and had engineers on site calculating on the laptops. Super cool job.

messmate stringy barks suck at the best of times, when they are this large and punked out then it is another ball game. thankfully for Graeme they are soft cutting at that point. Much respect to Him and the whole crew on this job.
The trivet rigging system is well worth checking out as Steve says.

Sherbrooke's website says he's been doing it for over 30 years......possibly Marshall Badeaux's long lost dad? The similarities are uncanny......

Every time I watch one of these guy's videos it really puts things in perspective for me. The work these guys do is simply amazing and in a league of it's own in my opinion. Thanks Sherbrooke for making these videos and showing the incredible work that you do.

And then add another 150 feet down from the Tahune Airwalk! Reminds me of my Tall Trees Tough Men book.
