SEI Gear Bags?

When Google doesn't work I turn to you guys...

I'm looking for a company called SEI who makes or made climbing equipment (rock climbing presumably). Apparently at one point they made a gear bag that was specifically aimed at arborists.

A friend showed me his... all it says on it is SEI Balance. It was kind of a cool backpack/rope/all purpose bag. He thought the company was from Colorado. Ring a bell for anyone?

Not sure that link was it. The company I'm looking for is/was a manufacturer, not necessarily a retailer.

Wild goose chase probably, but the bag was intriguing...

We have those bags for our crew , they were designed by Chris Schra an Arborist ,, I'll try and post a pic of the bags ..

They are kind of expensive but worth it. We got them as a safety bonus at work from the Bishop company in L.A

Sweet. Thank you so much for the info. I work with Bishop on a few items. I'll look into it.

Update: They appear to be still in production. The newer version looks tweaked from the one I saw. It looks like it runs $100+. Might be worth it when you consider how quickly cheaper bags wear out.

Make sure that there are wheels on the duffle. A fully loaded pack is very heavy and awkward to move around.

The SEI bags are well designed and seem to be made using durable material.

Those SEI bags are very nice, with loops and pockets everywhere. It's much easier to haul your stuff around on your back than one shoulder. I've had mine for over a year and one of the shoulder straps recently ripped off. I think it was more from my groundman's brutality than the workmanship of the bag.
