seeking knowlege and experience fixing oil leak on my bucket truck

Mine is the 600H so it may be different than yours. I'd just call Altec tomorrow and they'll tell you what number it is.

Took it apart today, actually quite easy. It’s pretty obvious why it’s leaking from the top. The black oil seal on top was falling apart.

however it does NOT look like a easy job to replace the seals. The two black ones on the top and bottom are made of two pieces, a C shaped almost hard plastic and a mow elastic band fit in the middle of the C. The middle three look like typhoon, all pretty hard. Have no idea how I can get the new ones back in there that’s to say if I can find them. Will go to the dealer Monday and most likely have them check it wether to rebuild or buy new.3BB151DB-1151-4AA0-98B6-29AFDF9FAF61.jpegA9C7BD55-EB53-44E2-B72C-80213033093B.jpeg

Mine turned out to be much more expensive. new collector (rotary joint) cost over a grand, a small bag of seals, almost $300, more valuable than gold. I decided to try the kit. useless instructions. have to call tech support to find out what temperature to heat up the seals to get on the piston. ~50C or 120F, hot tap water.
