Here in the States people want their trees cut down, because they dirty up the pool.
I knew you guys were strange down there, but washing your trees before you chip them, is way out there.

Wish I had video of the Redneck job I did this week. IMO an unclimable 75ft Loblolly Pine. Sitting in the tidle water when high tide is in. I had no choice but to drop it into the river. It floated(some). Tried to pull it with the Bobcat...no go. Tried to pull it with the big ol-Dodge. No go. Needless to say.....tide went out and I spent 6 hours in waist deep river muck cutting with an undersized(disposable MS250) saw. Killed the saw, got the tree out, didn't drown but was covered in mud like in Predator. Job sucked. Will never, ever do it again! Bad idea. No bucket access, no crane access. Needed to walk away from this job but I have been doing work for these people for several years. They are my low bank account saviors! They love to spend $$ on their trees!

Felt like an idiot and got lectured by a little granny next door about ruining the wetlands! Never again! Call my a crawfish

It's a shame you couldn't of cut that pine off ten feet or so in the air and used the trunk as a jin pole! The face cut could have been made climbing the tree.....and the back cut from a step ladder! /forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Actully, I wrote that and gave it to Clapton, but he did'nt like it, so I showed it to Mitch Mitchel & Neol Redding, they thought it was very good and gave it to some Jimi guy.
