I was wondering if anyone has a link to the video of him doing the srt ascent with the mini traxion-i think its a rope rocket set up.I cant find it anywhere.

Here is a link to download a bunch of different SRT set ups. Its very well done in my opinion.
SRT download (vtio.org.au)

Scott Sharpes is in there near the bottom.

I wanna say though I'm not keen on this set up. Your only point of attachment is a mini traxion. Its main design is for a progress capturing pulley. If you look at the specs by Petzl when using this device, it does show that it can be used as a self belay, but only with ropes less than or equal to 10mm. I think that should be noted when using this system. Light and more compact then a chest plate, but must be used within the manufacturers Specifications. Finally, the last time i checked all ascenders need a back up. I don't see one in this setup (correct me if i'm wrong).

It would be simple enough to place a footlocking prussic above the traxion which would give you a simple back up. Something i would definitely do if using this.

That is Paolo demonstrating the Frog System of SRT using the TreeFlex saddle.

This is the technique that he taught me and I've been using it ever since, along with a modified version of it.

That is a very interesting link. It seems the traxion in the Scott Sharpes setup could be replaced by the unicender.

I love Scott's video, it's great to see that system in action, SO FAST!!! I do agree with surveyors comment on backups, a footlock prussik or even an eye and eye above the mini would work great.
X2 on the VTIO link, I had it printed and bound at Kinkos and its right next to my Jerry Beranek books. Great resource.

Here is part of the description below the SRT link.
