Saw Modz

Advancing the timing makes a difference and it's easy to do. There's information regarding how to do it on here somewhere. But essentially all your doing is removing the flywheel and using a jewelers file or something similar remove about a third of the width of the leading edge of the raised keyway. Ask @Jackjcc

While these mods do make a significant improvement in performance, they will not make anywhere near a 40% gain. Be careful who you trust your saw to.
 
That saw will easily produce 40-60% more wood during a days cutting BS ... I should know ... been using it for quite awhile and it just keeps getting stronger as everything "seats" in
 
A proper muffler mod and a razer sqr/sqr chain WILL get u 30-40% faster cutting than stock - I'm sure there are members here "in the know" that can and will back this assertion ... full-mods with right fuel and mix 50-60% over stock is possible ALL DAY LONG !!!
 
These are not "race saws" ... they are cutting MACHINES that can ... and will ... put more $ in your wallet ... and more importantly ... perform day in and day out ...
 
Why do you post other peoples saw videos when you are the saw guru??

201t video is not yours, you repost that lame 241 video

No one is going to do production cutting all day with a 241, very specific conditions for its use and I would know, I own 2 of them as well as a 201tc and 3 200t's, all stock and with a spot on tune and sharp chain make chips fly day in and day out with no smoke and mirrors.

I use MY 241c Ripper all day with wood 12" and under and will continue to do so ... speed and fuel economy warrants it !
 
"Smoke and mirrors" is an idiom for a deceptive;fraudulent or insubstantial explanation or description ... I don't believe I owe Mr Snailerizer ANY explanation regarding my work ... I make saws cut quicker than stock and offer videos of said saws bars buried in WNY red-oak ... the customer can see/hear the product in action ... thanks and have a blessed day!

So says the "Snailerizer"... unfortunately your "opinion" is just that ... look guy ... I'm about 6 hrs from ya - I can ease on down the yellow brick road with my saws and a chunk of red oak ... set up the camera and let em rip ... game ? Eh probably not ... just like when I offered to send u chain after you insulted me on arboristsite ... l say I say boy - your doin a lot of choppin- but no chips are flying !!! Haha you are a funny guy ; next thing out of ya is I sped up the film when cutting haha ...
 
Ok folks ... I called the man out and ...... nothing !!! Again !!! Hey Snailerizer next time u insult someone and they call u out on it ... respond ... or YOU look WEAK ... Guys just get a Black Cat Performance muff-mod and Razer chain and you'll be right there with his "ported saws"
