Boutte Tree, Inc. is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Safety and Training Specialist.
The ideal candidate would have 10 years or more of experience in all aspects of modern tree climbing techniques and in the operation of various types of tree equipment. Previous experience in training is a prerequisite. We are looking for a candidate who is firm about safety and yet very kind and personable towards crew members.
Responsibilities would include overseeing (and occasionally) working together with our four production crews, filling out paperwork pertaining to safety and quality inspections, doing weekly safety meetings, and being dedicated to other aspects of safety such as tool inventorying and the like.
The position does NOT include responsibilities of daily production climbing, mechanic work, or being a "boss" over the crew leaders, though proper authority will be given to be able to perform duties.
CTSP would be a requisite of the position but could be obtained shortly after hiring.
Bilingual candidates strongly preferred. Excellent compensation and benefits.
