I'm seeing some videos pop up with the new rope runner. Are the Beta Testing models out there already? Bonner?

No droppable parts. Is it any easier or faster to attach or remove?
Dang.... Why do we hear about new products years before their release??? It just ain't fair.

If you look at this picture you can see that the upper slic pin is very similar to the current Rope Runner, only it has a indent where the plunger can slip back into but it doesn't have to be removed completely to insert the rope. The lower pin can only be moved to the position it is shown in the picture...then the side plate itself slides out of the way and you can insert the rope into the lower friction point. And again with the pulley...the side plate swings out of the way. This way nothing needs to be separated while putting it on and off the line. I guess you could still manage to drop the entire thing, but it helps keep everything as a unit. The coolest feature, I think, is the center tending point. It's mid line attachable correct?
Which could aid in not dropping it if you clipped it in first

I heard it will hopefully drop around next expo
According to a recent article in Arborist News, the average tree worker should be knocking down 47K, the crew leader 52K and a supervisor of several crews 65K. I think Ryan has a valid point no matter what you say Levi.Whiners! With all the tools and techniques at your disposal these days and you are complaining about the latest and greatest devices taking too long to get to market? I am just happy to be involved in an industry where such rapid change is taking place and the work is consistently being made easier on the body. Even if because of these changes it is harder on the wallet. Especially considering wage stagnation in this country and industry. THAT my friends is what you should be bitching about...
