I have a piece of it. It's a clone of New England KM MAX, same construction and feel. Little bouncy, but smooth cover. In fact, it didn't work well with a ZigZag... wanted to slip quite a bit. You could get these beautiful, smooth but 3' long coasting stops. Not really a good idea. Have not had that problem with either rope, though, with RW and 9mm hitch in SRT setup. Keep in mind that at 11.1mm or 11.2mm that's too small for the ZZ anyway, but the 32-strand cover has a very noticeably slicker feel to it in mechanicals. I also experimented with a 1/2" nylon 48-strand static rescue rope... similar results. Was "jumpy" with mechanicals. Seemed too slick and would slip slightly, then lock too tight onto it, if that makes any sense. That one didn't even work out well with a RW... would slip a foot then grab, but wouldn't release the rope again without help.
