Rope Wrench Rope?

I suck at digging through archives, so sorry to ask again. What do you fellow wrenchers like to climb on? I love my tachyon, velocity, and PI. Don't want to cut splices, and I wanna try somthing new! Im leaning towards KMIII, or PMI clasic sport all in the 11m range. This money is burnin' a hole in me britches!

I've been shopping for a new line also which would be good for the wrench and also for DDRT. Is Tachyon a good line for this (it's supposed to be). Also, is Lava the same rope as Tachyon, just with a different name?

Tachyon and Lava are the same.

I have a long tachyon for my wrench - works great. Great for DdRT, too (whatever that is ;-). Some people think it bounces too much for them, but it doesn't bug me.

I have some older shorter sections of 1/2 inch arbormaster that i run the wrench on most of the time - i like those cuz they are nice and fat to grab on to.

But, gee whiz, get one of the lighter ropes if you are buying new.

Use PI with mine. I'm a new school olds school type jack-leg, though...don't really care what kinda rope I use...especially now that I ascend using ascenders. The days of footlocking/cussing my way up a new waxy rope are over. Long live the RW! PI and Tachyon are both good ropes. Velocity is too skinny for me, especially in SRT when I may have to pull myself up on one leg of rope. I even prefer my PI when it starts to get fluffy. I've got a short piece left from a 200' footer that I just can't throw away. I've got a brand new 200' that I've had for 4 mnths and I just don't like it as much. PI milks like an SOB as well, which really kinda sucks. Rocketline is super sexy though!

I've used PI and all gear rocket line with the rw and prefer the rocket line. There is almost no stretch, very hi-vis, lightweight, and it stays round which is nice with the pantin. However, there is a little less for the hand to grab which hasn't given me much trouble, but some might not like it.
