Sure, if we get another stretch of decent weather, come on down. I am just 500 yards from the Lopez Island ferry landing, easy to find. I just need a few day's notice so I don't plan any off-island jobs.

Thank you so much for the photos! You are indeed quite crafty. Too bad it doesnt hold well on 9mm during SRT. I am beginning to think that a short piece of 11mm rope is in my future if I want to start using a ropewalking system.

Just screwing around. Got some of these laying around. Multi lock hasps that are used for lockout/ tagout of equipment in plants and factories.



Grind out that rivet in the center. Cut off some excess metal with bandsaw. Three stainless 3/8" shoulder bolts. A piece of stainless tubing that's 1/2" OD on the center bolt. Might need thicker than 1/2" tubing.

I'll try it out Monday probably. Whole thing is stainless steel, weighs 6.4 ounces. Probably too heavy. Fun lil project though

If it works I'll do a better job softening all the edges and swap the one shoulder bolt and wing nut for a slic pin, and locktight the other two and cut off excess thread.

If it works, I could see chaining a few for a rig-n-wrench setup. They look stout and like they don't have a lot of leverage by themselves.
