rope burn on the forehead

this one is kinda funny as long as you dont think about what could have happened, today i was speed lineing some wood out into a parking lot and the ground guy had way way too much slack in the control line, long story short the line snapped tight and some how some way smacked me in the forehead and gave me a good rope burn, kinda funny lookin, i look like harry potter now. i now know what my ground crew is able to do and unable to do, it sucks when you know how to do something and want to use it and your held back by the inexperience of your ground crew

just a quick word for my ground crew, usually they are pretty good with these things, it was just an accident and i am lucky to know that it wont happen again, it was one of those accidents that opens everyones eyes with very minor altercations

next time, i control the control line and i use a snap cut especially when im in the bucket

rodger, we were all on the same page for about 10 cuts, but i know what your talking about, one time my boss grabed up a riggin line with no gloves on, he usually just drives around and does estimates but for some reason he decided to get into the mix, anyway, i told him to take a rap and he thought he could handle it, next thing i know he was lawn skiing and i was laughing so hard i almost fell out of the tree, pride damaged he untied the rope, walked to his truck and took off, best day of work ever

Some people can be turds. My old boss was asking me repeatedly whether the knot I tied around a chunk of oak would hold, as there was a fence underneath. Riled me a bit, so when he let go of the rope 'for a laugh', sending his brother airborne and smashing the fence in the process, I was suitably amused.
