Due to a few of the latest postings here and in other forum's on the Buzz (as well as a nightmare post on another site), I would like to make a request:

When posting about accidents, please post facts and your opinions about them. Please do not post unconfirmed things that you have heard or pass judgment on the victim.

I am in the middle of dealing with a fatal accident and the subsequent investigation and rumors that surround this type of event. In this particular case, things that people are sharing, that are not true, have gotten back to the family and has caused them unneeded stress in this horrible time.

Out of respect for the worker who was killed or injured, the family, their co-workers and friends, please only post what you know to be true and/or your opinion's on the event, not the person.

We have all taken chances, cut corners, etc. These same actions have killed other people. This forum is to share accidents and near misses so that others may learn from them and, hopefully, not repeat them.

Thank you for your understanding.

Are you serious? I have never had an employee or coworker killed, or seriously injured, and most certainly not gotten away with it.

I think what he means is that all we've done things similar to other's actions that in those particular instances have resulted in death; not that we've done things ourselves that have directly resulted in death.
