The thing about a bicycle is, it's like a burro, you can load it up and if you can't ride it in certain terrain, you can roll it just about anywhere, easier to push the bike than carry on your back.

I miss canoes, mostly kayaks in this part of the world. Not the same

Canoes are the aquatic burro, mine's robust, I've used it as an icebreaker, can be loaded heavy. Some guy with with a probably 2k kevlar canoe at a landing said "That looks pretty heavy", I said "I can pick it up and put it on my truck no problem", and thought, "I'd destroy your pretty vessel in 5 minutes with normal use". Yeah canoes are small cargo vessels, at least that's the original use.

It's all good until you're trying to get 350 lbs. over a overpass... Then you dump logs in the nearest right of way...
