there is a really exceptional groundsman on my crew. he does side jobs on the weekends. he'd left his spurs on the shop floor for a couple of weeks. amazingly terrible spurs. I asked "hey can i have those?" and he said "sure buying new ones, you can have 'm man".

no idea what brand name. super old linesman gear. probably vintage, maybe military issue?? super rare and valuable no doubt. sorta like og buckinghams style. probably difficult to use for removals. the gaffs were sharp though.

Soooo. took them home. scissored off the shin straps which were sadistic, removed the half size little gaffs. pry them off with hammer and torch help, angle grinder, drilled new holes and fitted some spare notch pole gaffs, deleted the universal strap plates and fitted some used gecko velcrow uppers instead. oiled and crunched up the leather foot straps real good and soft.

They actually turned out really cool! can't wait to gift him his spurs back:) red black and blue. the gaff angles are on the aggressive side and look awesome. feel snug and comfortable walking around the garage. they look mean. I kinda want them haha :) like a 1980s chevy truck with dents:)
