It took 3 Days of discussions and paperwork to get approval from two companies to allow me to be raised into the tree with the crane. The managemnt company had strict policies on no personell on the crane. The "no" went pretty high up in the food chain.

What made the difference?

All my credentials and trainings including copies of certificates were presented...including Ehap and AR for the last 22 years. Copies of the last 2 ansi standards.Diagrams of set up, a task plan with detailed steps, copies of all inspections of the crane and rigging to be used. A couple old tree worker mags with crane info. The best crane practices book. The professional manner of the work for the clearing work the week prior. My website and vidos were presented

Alot went into this and we succeeded. The location was very very high profile. The Pieces I took were very conservative and the job went very smooth. After the second tree the safety people actually stopped paying attention.

This is a very positive step for our industry. I have had very positive feed back on the whole operation.

Iteresting. I'm certain I would have not been patient enough to go through so many hoops.

Got some pics?
