Quickie killer?

I like the shackle portion, would be awesome not having to operate the slic pin... feel like I would be dropping the pulley part... would just depend on price for me, the quickie is pretty cheap....

Looks like it is going to be heavy and bulky to put on a bridge. I assume it is stainless steel not aluminum. I don't need that kind of weight and bulk on my harness. Really, as cool as they seem, I can't think of a use for one. If it was there I might use it as a pulley to bring up a larger saw, but I don't want to haul it up there for that, then find a way to attach it to the tree.
Looks like something that is going to show up on Wespur's discontinued page.
Love my quickies and use them quite a bit, but the pins are a pain with gloves on. I should cut the tip off of one thumb so I can use the nail for them.

Lol, yeah I never used them for tree work but I have a few for slackline rigging. Not quite as redundant but they're sweet. I guess technically it's double action since you have to push the button followed by pulling the pin right? But still, those balls would surely let the pin slide out if it were loaded with enough force.

As someone who has tried the CMI California swivel, it won't be TOO heavy lol
