thank you folks for your replies to me. She is seeing a new doctor in january, she is going to ask him to help her.
She has been suffering for 18 months....I like her and want to help her.

Lightening is to lighten something...lightening holes in a sheet of metal (crane boom...for lightening, right?? Probably access, too).
