question about PM\'s on TB

Just an FYI - i recently receive a PM from a new poster here. nice that they though i had the skills to join a crew in montana. BUT has anyone else received these?

is this really the place to do that? i know this is a tree forum and jobs are jobs when you need them in your field.

maybe i am just a little to sensitive about getting mail like that.

gee i did ignore it, well maybe with this post, i am not.

I tried to do that but noticed you weren't accepting PMs so I turned mine off too.

The only PMs I got were from trolls anyway.

No PM, no PMs from trolls. Plus, my email is in my profile.

Group hugs can be macho...

Like when a Nascar team wins, or NASA engineers just solved a problem that saved the lives of 4 astronauts.....


Well, I'm not so sure about the NASA nerds. That might be a pretty awkward group hug. Probably not macho at least.




But a group hug of Muscle Guys doesn't sound that macho to me.

OK is a subjective term.


I was merely evaluating the macho-ness of the group hug.

Now it could be argued that I lack machismo myself, but that is neither here nor there.
