is it just me or do corona pull pruners suck? i have the bull pruner and i never use it because it cuts like crap. in fact, i'll never buy anything corona again.

marvin head = much, much better.

what have others found? i want to exchange my corona for a marvin - sherrill?

i agree with you about corona, i first bought them because the price was right, but they do suck, now i only buy felco or i am now trying silky sugoi for my hand pruner, this one was recommended by someone on the buzz and i can not remember who but i love it and the pole pruner i use is by jameson. i do not like corona anything. you are right they do not cut well if at all.

Re: pole pruners

You practitioners having problems with the Corona lopper, do you know how to sharpen it?
I don't know why we can have such vastly different results with the same tool.

I have a Jameson, too, the new big one the same capacity as the Corona Bull.

The Coronas are heavy, but such is the nature of high-capacity, production equipment sometimes. Change from pull rope to pull strap for an entirely new level of improvement. Lube them now and then, but mostly, keep an edge. I sharpen at least every other day. You lose sharpness just letting them sit unused.

My Coronas suck also when I let the blade get dull.
