I believe there is a form one can fill out to ask their cert folks if you can get CEUs for educational events or whatnot that werent previously approved.

If you're really hurting for CEUs, Arborist News and JoAaUF quizes are online from the past 12 months or so and are free to members

Yeah stocking up on them for the future is a good idea. I need 60 every 3 years but the freebies and conferences have been enough so far.
