Looked kinda punky from the video when the limbs were coming off. Those Red Oaks can be Killers. Literally. Did it sound hollow on the accent?

What is this pre-climb inspection you speak of?

Yeah, I knew it was there. I went conservative on the size of pieces rigged. I didn't expect it to break apart on impact. However, I think that the wood we had stacked across a little walkway had something to do with it.

Not really. I was able to peek inside a small hole and gauge it from there.
