I don't usually post picks but that was 1 of biggest poplars we have done in a few years, we have crews doing crane removals daily but only some justify posting

Work like that separates the men from the boys!

Sweet. We don't have too many big trees round here...except the cotton woods. We have taken several down around here that big. 6'+ on the stump is not uncommon. Amazing how fast we can get them on the ground, it's like they were made for rigging themselves apart. Helps they were all topped in '98.

That's his 60 ton. From what I understand, Grant was thinking of getting a larger one but decided that a bigger one probably would be impossible to get into the places he can get his 60 ton into.
I'll have to ask him the next time I see him.
We were working with him today on a removal in Oshawa.

Grants machine is a 60 ton terex, he works as a 40-60 depending on if he has to use counterweight , there are still a lot of big trees around

Nope, those people would be wrong. His old machine was exactly the same as the new one with the exception of less counter weight making it a 55.
