Poplar - Crane - Video

WOW
you are the best dude. I really enjoyed watching that one.
I do beleive there is a market for your vids. Safe climbing, flawless picks, great camerwork and the music is right on too. Stay safe and keep it up.

Awesome!

What termination knot are you using on you climbing line, I couldn't quite see it.

My 2 cents from the peanut gallery is, let's see more climbing footage and less of the pieces traveling through the air en route to chipper. You know, more just getting around in the tree, more attatching slings, etc . Keep all the cutting, that's cool, and all the lift off shots.

It was afigure-8, I tie it right at the start of the film.

10 minutes (max for youtube) isn't very long.

I figure there isn't much to slinging....see one seen them all, although I did throw in some pre-tension.

Climbing footage? There was some on the vid but nothing out of the ordinary, just me looking for shortcuts around the tree.

Thanks

I still say put in more..it's always good to see a skilled climber move through a tree, and would be good also to see more of one handed slack removal via the VT, at least for those of us who aren't using the VT with slack tender, yet.

I love it when they float away!

WOW. The editing is magic Reg. Art is defined as something more than the sum of its parts and in my opinion you managed that. Beautiful!

I think the comp guys would be the ones to watch for that kind of thing....

Great work and great vid Reg. I personally always crave more of the helmet cam footage. I love seeing the pieces float away from the climber's perspective.
