Pole saw heads or combos

I have favorite 15-20 year old power lever combo pruner with saw blade on it. I broke the pruning blade and the saw teeth are getting short from sharpening. I haven’t found a replacement blade for it. Anyway do you prefer the changeable head or the combo type and why? Was looking at Jameson and Corona. Craig

I love my interchangeable. Also a huge fan of the carbon fiber poles. Now That I've gotten accustomed to my ultra light pole, aluminum feels so heavy. Even fiberglass feels heavy, and not as stiff. The carbon isn't as stiff as aluminum, but you just finesse it like any other fiber pole and you're golden. I tried the Castellari stuff on Arbsession and have not been dissapointed.

Same, I use the saw head that accepts Silky blades, oh momma! Carbon fiber reminds me of basswood poles but better.

I am approaching the end of service life on my current blade and was wondering if I might have to mod my head to use Silky blades. Am I reading you right, that you have a silky blade on a castellari pole?

Notch has a head to fit Ibuki and Hayauchi blades. I added a Jameson female socket to the Castellari poles. I have the AT6 and that had a plastic sleeve at the end and was the perfect fit the quick connect socket.
I have been trying to figure out how to mod a current head to accept the Zubat blades. I think that would be a badass setup for these poles. But it’s tricky because of integrated handle. If I build something that works I’ll post it.

Silky had a zubat pole saw. Before Sherrill had notch make their own. I’ve gotten replacement parts for my long boys from Canada or Europe

I have the Zubat polesaw and is my favorite short polesaw. But the carbon fiber is 19’ at half a pound heavier than the Zubat.

Thanks folks! After researching and y’all’s advice, I decided to buy the Jameson 3 blue pole kit. On sale too. BTW…Fisker has the patent rights for my 20 year old unknown telescoping pole saw. I’ve contacted them to find out if the pruning blade is still available. I read that some people were successful in getting a replacement blade. Thanks Craig
