Red squirrels! Been at war with them for years, but they keep coming

BIG LOL!

I remember Dad keeping up on his open sites shooting accuracy when Iwas in 2nd grade. Using his 22 shorts to reduce the spring hatch of reds.

My takeaway...trying to get ahead of the squirrel population was like fighting smoke...useless effort. His target practice paid off. In the fall he hunted with open sights and an 'aught six' ...usually successful too
