Piston/cylinder compatability Husky t540 and husky t540 v2

Location
Denmark
Good evening guys,

I love my t540, and this site has made me keen on having my saw(s) modded. Dont want a cookie monster, But would like more power as I dont find my 560 particularly fun to use up in the tree. Plan is base decking, piston dome, Muffler, porting and blue printing.

Issue is that i have not found a experienced chainsaw tuner in Denmark, i have a guy who is willing to Do it for free as a learning experience. He has experience in modding 2 stroke gocart and Bike Engines.
The thing he requires from me is, my saw offcourse and a spare cylinder n piston so if he screws up he Can change cylinder and or piston and saw is Good again.

New Genuine husky parts dont come cheap so i have found a cheap v1 540.

I have read that the cylinder of a V1 is diff than a v2, But What is the difference?

Best regards

Ben

Thx for replying.

No i didnt find an answer to my question.
My wish for more power in my Climbing saw got over ruled by my need for a new/used 560 or similar as my 560 xpg threw up on me and is now just a box of spares...

But when funds permit... so if Anybody Got the answer ill be interested.

Best regards
Ben
