Pine County, MN- Arborist Foreman, Crew Lead, or Climber needed

We are a small but growing tree preservation company out of Pine City, MN. Our focus is on pruning, though we do get removals.

We have a few large contracts now, with a bit of residential and commercial work coming through.

We are in need of a journeyman level climber with the intention of growing into a foreman/leadership role. We do not own lifts, this is a climbing position.

Pay bumps offered for ISA/TCIA certs.

Right now, we do not have full time work. Average hours per week expected as of now are 20-30.

I do not pay less than $30 per hour, I will pay way more for someone who can efficiently run crews and teach as well as get work done.

Like I said, we're small. We are a new company, but I (the owner) have over 15 years of experience and will be testing for my BCMA and Municipal ISA certs this year. The company will pay for trainings, maintaining certs, continuing education, etc.

We currently have a 25 yard dump and a 13" chipper with a winch. We have access to a rental yard as well which has skids with grapples, lifts, etc.

There's much more to cover, and I'd love to chat and see what we can offer you.

Thank you,

Brandon with Blue Pine Works.

If I am not stoked about how things work out here, I'll be required to wait 18 months after I finish building my house before I can sell it, but I may make a big move if you're still looking to fill the position. You seem like good people to work with, so it shouldn't take long to find someone. The Washington Boys make it look really appealing too though...

Hopefully by then I can offer benefits and relocation bonuses too. That's the hope. Gotta go where your heart calls you! I lived in the PNW for a good portion of my life, born in Spokane.

We've been focusing on training and a few removals. The foreman I'd hired did not work out, so we now have an apprentice and groundman with me. The apprentice is a certified engineer, which is turning out to be a great investment. The groundman is a hard worker and loves learning and growing. We're well equipped and are expanding. Give us a shout if you're in the area.

Man, we're hilariously similar looking. You and I would get asked all the time if we're brothers. That sounds awesome to have a legit engineer on the crew. A couple of my favorite homeowner helpers were engineers, who also happened to be Brothers in Law.

Hahaha, that'd be funny. It really is. He's smart, picks things up quick, and has enough crazy to want to climb and innately has aptitude. I found a unicorn, just gotta build him up.
