It's awful. Worst pain I've ever had in my life. Woke from a dead sleep in convulsions, vomiting. Now I have a hole in my back, stuffed with gauze.

A cyst that forms on your tailbone. Someone kill me. Please.

Down for a week for now. If a more invasive surgery is needed, it can be 4-8 weeks recovery.

Stay vigilant. If you feel like you've got a bruised tailbone, but can't remember taking a hit... Get checked out. I was told mine was so big that it had to have been there for quite some time.

Man I don't know if is applicable quite yet but silvadine. It a sav made with silver in it absolutely amazing. Helps with healing some even more combating infection. When you do use it, it may turn the surface green that is it doing its job getting rid of infection. We buy it on Amazon sure it available other places. Heal up quick man.

Dude I knew years ago got one, he spent about a month not sitting and having to pack gauze in the hole. He let it get really out of hand before he saw a doc.

Vigilance is the only option.

The surgery and a lance are different lance is just a slice what I had and what it sounds like op is having is a surgery were they actually carve the infected flesh off of your body

I've actually seen the surgery in person as a pre med student many moons ago. Fairly small one in the case I saw but the surgical wound opening was quite large.
Not good. Doc said it's about as bad a place to get a cyst as there is.
