That picture ruined my day....and I'm already at the doctor's office waiting to get my leg stitched up from a hockey skate cut.

I guess I don't get your joke. It is a minor surgery but it keeps you down for a while o.p will be down a few months wether he likes it or not my whole point was it's been over a year since my surgery and it's still healing.. I pity any man that has to go through this. Not to mention the pilonidal cyst hugs the spinal chord (hence why o.p got physically sick) it takes nothing for infection to penetrate the blood stream through the spinal chord

Yes, thus far it is honestly the worst pain I've ever been in. Ever. I'm going back to see if they got what they needed to get, or if they have to dice me up some more. My money is on I come out of it clean. Hopefully be up and swinging in no time.

Did you try some silver on it? The wife (FNP) totally recommended it anytime you packing a wound she said infection is at a super high risk. She showed me pictures of the procedure. I THREW UP. You certainly have some stones of steel. Hat off to you bud.
 
Sorry, @seedling345... the joke was about Assisted Living homes... even I wouldn't actually take that painful looking condidtion lightly. It makes me cringe just thinking how much fun it would be trying to go for a bike ride, a long drive... ouch. Get well, guys. That just doesn't look like fun, at all.

On the other hand, whenever I trip over something and nearly fall and break my ass, the wife tells me to try to land head first. What the hell is that crazy bitch trying to say?
 
I got one of these in college. They do suck.
The second time i got one I had it completely surgically removed. It's literally a pain in the ass.
