work climb to stations on backside and high up pole station, limb walk high too with little room to spare

speed climb any one? Seriously now, though, who BEFOR exiting the tree,w/ plans to QUICKLY re-accend after a lunch or emergecy trip to the chip truck.... , "huls out" there 30'/2 in. manila rope(w/ mind you, ten over hand knots tide in it:I personaly have three of thess hevy- duty babies ) then gerth-hitches it to the second lowest branch, while piching back the enevidable, an then finaly decends to the ground to do what ever...
I think they should use a doubled 1/2" rope or nothing and just let the competitor body thrust or foot lock the tail. At least thats the way I do it, if accenders or sraight foot lock'n can't be done. coments any one?

here we are in the bucket truck event! nice smooth entry....and oh, oh, whats that? Dan ? your're allready at the top and climbing its a wash and the climbers take it. the city of Spokane loand us there nice! lift for the work climb event!

the pics may be decieving, but that seems like one hell of a limb walk, long ways out there. Was there a sufficient tie in to avoid buzzin it?

The limb walk as I recall was pretty simple. I don't think too many people had problems keeping the plumb from hitting the ground. It was a relatively steep, stiff oak limb.
