The Pfanner seems like its HUGE! Does it get in the way? Do you find that you bump your head any more than normal?

Any one else notice that they get use to wearing helmets. I tend to bump my head on all sorts of stuff with no ill effect, until I'm not wearing the hat. I think I've become helmet dependent. That proto's looks good, I'd grab one if it wasn't for the price.

@Tom Dunlap is is a little bigger but it isn't very noticeable as far as extra bumps go and you get used to the slightly heavier weight as well. I didn't notice anything different as far as weight goes until I put the petzl back on after a few weeks of using the Pfanner.

The fit is amazingly better on the pfanner. Very interested to see how it does in warmer weather.

It's so big I imagine it will provide quite a bit of shade.

It's just so BIG...but hey it's got side impact which is good....and the muffs slide outta of the way...but I will stick with my Kask as this is a new one and then lets see...
