Petzl Fixe and prusik

Hi,
If you are using Petzl Fixe with prussik, how do you attach it?
Do you force the prusik inside Fixe sides or just attach it outside the Petzl Fixe sides?

I am using Petzl OK carabiner and if I put prusik outside of the pulley sides it just too bulky and doesn’t feel right. If I try to put it inside the Fixe side I have to force it.
What do you do?

X2. If you make the outside eye the first thing you thread the biner through, it will be against the gate if you rotate the biner completely. This will keep it from traveling down the spine while you climb.

An 8mm with naked eye splices might comfortably fit both eyes inside.

Yeah I was gonna ask what diameter hitch cord your using bc 8mm will probably be the biggest you might fit...there's also thinner diameter cords you could fit easier.
I used to use that pulley on my lanyard till I got a pinto pulley. The pinto is designed to do this and can fit thicker cords. Plus that Becket on the pinto really opens up more options.
I've got a art positioned and zillon but I usually gravitate to my hitch and pinto for most stuff.
I really like to use the zillon when working on white pines and sappy stuff like that

It was brand new 8 mm. However after I played with it for a while, now I can get it between sides of Fixe.
