It's cheap as can be, and seems to be the most heavily urethane coated or something, because it's very slick and splices more easily than TREX or Tenex TEC.
I tried making these with the other two in this size, and this was soooo much easier.
Yea, hollow braid is the easiest to learn, and will hugely boost your confidence in attempting more challenging splices. This stuff doesn't pick or snag, and is very forgiving if you start to fuck up and back up a bit. And it's the cheapest by a lot, so you can afford to just make shit and see how it goes. This 3/8" stuff has a 7k MBS, so it's way useful still and did I mention cheap?
